About our services

Trattoria Al Gallo is a restaurant serving Italian and Romanian cuisine, with its own guesthouse, located in the centre of Bran, Strada Sextil Pușcariu 31, one minute on foot from Bran Castle.

The services are provided by UNISIL SRL, the company that operates Trattoria Al Gallo, with its registered address at Strada Sextil Pușcariu 31, Bran 507025, Brașov County, unique registration code (CUI) RO13019757, Trade Register number J08/445/2000.

The restaurant can be booked by phone, for a table; the guesthouse can be booked by phone or through partner online booking platforms, for a room.

Online food ordering, where available, is placed on a separate website dedicated solely to ordering, and is not covered by these terms.

Restaurant reservations

Restaurant reservations are made by phone, at 0733 662 647. The reservation is confirmed verbally, during the call.

The restaurant is open daily, from 10:00 to 21:00.

Please let us know in advance if you are running late or can no longer keep your reservation.

Accommodation reservations

Accommodation reservations are made by phone, at 0733 662 647, or through our partner online booking platforms.

The guesthouse is open around the clock, and guests staying with us can request assistance at any hour.

The specific conditions of each reservation, including check-in and check-out times, are communicated to you upon confirmation.

Cancellation policy

Accommodation bookings are made by phone, using the numbers listed in the Contact section, and become firm once the front desk verbally confirms them. No advance payment is charged for direct bookings, except in the situations described below. A booking may be cancelled or changed free of charge if we are notified by phone at least 7 calendar days before the check-in date. For cancellations notified less than 7 calendar days before arrival, as well as in case of no-show, the property reserves the right to charge the equivalent of the first night's accommodation. Bookings made through intermediary platforms, such as Booking.com, are governed exclusively by the cancellation and payment terms displayed by that platform at the time of booking, which may differ from those set out here. Any cancellation request for such bookings must be submitted through the platform on which the booking was made.

Restaurant table reservations can be cancelled or changed by phone, free of charge. Please let us know if you are running late, since reserved tables are held for 20 minutes past the booked time, after which they may be given to other guests. Group bookings and private events are subject to terms agreed separately at the time of booking.

Amounts paid using holiday vouchers (tichete de vacanță) are not refunded in cash, in accordance with the regulations applicable to this payment instrument. Accommodation services with a fixed performance date are exempt from the 14-day right of withdrawal, pursuant to art. 16 lit. l) din OUG nr. 34/2014 (a Romanian government emergency ordinance), which is why only the cancellation terms set out in this section apply.

Payments and holiday vouchers

We accept payment in cash, by card and by holiday vouchers (tichete de vacanță), as permitted by law.

Holiday vouchers can be used for both restaurant services and accommodation, within the limits set by law.

Displayed prices include VAT unless otherwise specified.

Intellectual property

The content of the website, including texts, photographs and logos, belongs to Trattoria Al Gallo and may not be reproduced without written consent.

Limitation of liability

We make efforts to ensure the information on the site is correct and up to date, but we do not guarantee the absence of errors. Prices and availability may change.

Governing law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by Romanian law. Disputes may be resolved amicably, directly with us, through the alternative dispute resolution platform run by the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC SAL), available at reclamatiisal.anpc.ro, or by the competent courts of Romania.
